Reiki is an energetic hands-on healing system based in the ancient Tibetan art/science of
spiritual self-improvement. Training requires a Master teacher who passes along the lineage of the original master Usui. The application of Reiki can be used for treating energetic blocks or barriers that may present as physical, mental, emotional or spiritual pain. Interpersonal difficulties, world-weariness, stress and a sense of difficulty in life may respond well to Reiki.
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy” to improve health and enhance the quality of life. A session may involve only light touching or hovering of the practitioner’s hands over the body.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and surrounds the body. Reiki treats the whole person, body, mind, emotions, and spirit. It creates many beneficial effects including feelings of relaxation, peace, security, and well-being. Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that benefits all beings including your favorite pets.
CranioSacral Therapy is a system of evaluation and treatment using gentle non-invasive mobilization techniques of the craniosacral system, which includes all the structures related to the central nervous system and spinal column including cranial bones, sacrum, spinal column and tissue, and cerebrospinal fluid. Subtle movement or rhythmic impulses in the body are an indicator of overall health. Physical stress, emotional stress, and toxins can hinder or block the healthy rhythmic impulses causing the tissues to form a memory of the stress or unresolved issue which may interrupt the proper healthy sequence of tissue maintenance.
Treatments help normalize the restrictions and dysfunctions in the craniosacral system, which then relates to all the other systems in the body. The practitioner finds the still points in the craniosacral structures and facilitates the reestablishment of the healthy rhythmic movement which assists the body in self-healing.
The patient feels the practitioner gently touch the body in specific places for short periods of time. The treatments are gentle and soothing. A feeling of relaxation and/or increased clarity can occur after the session.
Lymphatic Drainage is a very subtle method of touch that works with the lymphatic structures which are throughout the whole body; these structures closely parallel the circulatory system. It is an intervention that is effective in working with clearing poisons, toxins, relieving immune system blocks and pain syndromes. Post-operative, scarring and adhesions respond well to the consistent use of lymphatic drainage.
Through the gentle touch of lymphatic drainage techniques, every cell and tissue structure in the body is rejuvenated and has the opportunity to find balance. Mindful attention to the flow of the “waters of the body” is the primary thought process. Along with skillful application of touch that is the weight of a nickel lymphatic drainage is gentle care for the most painful areas.
Polarity Therapy is based on the hermetic principles of magnetic attraction and repulsion, expansion/contraction, vibration, and is drawn from Ayurveda and ancient Chinese practice. These principles are loosely based in the elements and use structured protocols of touch, reflex and acupressure points that balance energy flow in the body. Exercise, energetic food awareness, yoga stretches, and activity modifications and are components to this system which holistically involve you in your care and wellbeing. As an active approach to self-care, these skills are useful in all conditions, prevention and health maintenance.
Massage is the manipulating of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being. Massage involves working and acting on the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids.
Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, and feet. There are over eighty different recognized massage modalities. The most cited reasons for introducing massage as therapy have been client demand and perceived clinical effectiveness.
EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE
Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT has been described as acupressure for emotions, without needles. It is a natural and effective healing modality which involves tapping on specific meridian treatment points on the face and torso while holding a focused intention and speaking specific words related to the issue of concern. Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, believes that the cause of all negative emotions is a block in the body’s energy system. EFT allows these blocks to be cleared and energy flow to be balanced, without re-experiencing the pain or trauma.
Think of EFT as a way to re-set a breaker switch in the body’s electrical system. EFT can also be used to reduce or eliminate physical symptoms, phobias, pain and distress from unpleasant memories. Clients can find rapid relief by working with a certified EFT practitioner, yet because EFT is so simple, adults and children of all ages can learn the process for a life-time of empowering self-care.

TOTAL BODY MODIFICATION
Total Body Modification (TBM) is a comprehensive system built on the belief that the “power that made the body can heal the body”. This system grew out of the original study of kinesiology which chiropractic practitioners used in addition to adjustments of the physical body structure. Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) is a form of this testing with more checkpoints added for nutritional adjustments. By using simple muscle testing of indicated and comprehensive body points the positive/negative functions and structure of the body can be tested. Using energetic and soft tissue corrections, the body can realign, restoring function and communication within the system. TBM and CRA seek to normalize the flow of energy by balancing and unblocking these inherent programs of self-regeneration and health in the body.
